    As requested by our lovely Burners......On Thursday the 17th of August we are adding a new outdoor evening class with the newest member of our team - Melissa. Please come along and try it out, it will run for 4 weeks as a trial and if it proves popular, we'll add it to the schedule on a permanent basis. It will start at 19:00 for one hour.     BIF: Why did you join Burn It Fitness and what have you achieved since training with us? CF: I joined about four years ago having been bullied by my siblings into running a half marathon for my sister's 50th. PT with Michelle got me to 10km and then I joined the old Tuesday and Friday running classes. A combination of Jim and members encouragement got me through the next 11.5km of Cape Town's Two Oceans last Easter. The race was delayed by 18 months due to our preference for a more enjoyable party which gave me the motivation to join two of the intensity bootcamp's.     We mentioned in the newsletter you received on Thursday that our Vinyasa Flow Yoga will take place every Friday at 2000. Please accept our apologies for the confusion that caused and note that the class is at 1945-2100 every Friday except 17th June, the launch of our Intensity Bootcamp when it is 2000-2115.     Our mummy community is growing and we wanted to improve the booking process and help you have some more flexibility in your workout week. From next week onwards, we are enabling you all to book into and cancel your sessions from an app which gives the the option to attend on other days if you cant make your regular session (if you know in advance) How to get started:

    I did it!! What an emotional day it turned out to be. After all the months of training and staying focused, the actual event was much harder than I had ever imagined. I stuck to my training plan the whole 14 weeks in the run up and felt totally prepared. My family made the trip from Maidstone to support me and move around the route to keep me motivated. Running out of Greenwich Park gates and hearing the crowds cheering everyone on was immense.
